It was a good run, but Cypress unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Sunny Hills Lancers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Centurions have suffered since August 16th.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 25-19.

Sunny Hills can attribute much of their success to Lilly Hernandez, who had five digs and four aces. That's the most aces Hernandez has posted since back in August of 2024.

Cypress' loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Sunny Hills, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Cypress does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sunny Hills, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Canyon on the 14th.
