Gabriela Patterson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. She struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
