Portland is a perfect 10-0 against Eaton Rapids since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Raiders will take on the Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Portland has six straight victories, Eaton Rapids has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Portland is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 54-7 win over Lansing Catholic. Considering the Raiders have won five contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Eaton Rapids had to suffer through a 56-21 loss at the hands of Olivet. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 403rd, while the Eagles are ranked 127th).

Eaton Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Portland, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Everything came up roses for Portland against Eaton Rapids when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 64-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
