Basketball Game Preview: Indian Creek Timberwolves vs. Earlville Red Raiders

Indian Creek is 7-2 against Earlville since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Indian Creek Timberwolves will face off against the Earlville Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Indian Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.3 points per game this season.

Indian Creek is headed into the match having just posted their biggest win since December 20, 2024 on Friday. Everything went their way against Hiawatha as Indian Creek made off with a 79-55 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-25.

Everett Willis was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in February of 2024. Tyler Bogle was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds.

Indian Creek was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Earlville entered their tilt with DePue on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 48-41 win over the Little Giants.

Earlville is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Indian Creek, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-8.

Everything went Indian Creek's way against Earlville in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Indian Creek made off with a 55-30 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Indian Creek since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
