Softball Recap: Mcadory Wins Going Away Against John Carroll Catholic

McAdory never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 12-4 win back in March.

Not much got past Pearl Ryan, who gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks to keep John Carroll Catholic off the board. Ryan has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 15 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kyndall Wyatt, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Addison Mitchell, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

McAdory was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as John Carroll Catholic only posted a batting average of .125.

McAdory's win bumped their record up to 17-9-1. As for John Carroll Catholic, they dropped their record down to 9-18 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
