After a string of 12 wins, Halstead's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Garden Plain Owls. Considering the last time the Dragons couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Halstead was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23.

Garden Plain was led to victory by Erin Smith and Anna Puetz. Smith had seven digs and two aces, while Puetz had five digs.

Halstead's defeat dropped their record down to 33-6. As for Garden Plain, their win bumped their record up to 30-10.

As of now, neither Halstead nor the Owls have any future games scheduled.
