Maxwell found a leader in Erik New as the squad took down Weed on Friday. The Cougars had no answer to New as he rushed for 143 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries. New also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up 1.5 sacks and making five total tackles.
