Football Recap: Briggsdale Piles Up the Points Against Deer Trail + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Briggsdale, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Deer Trail Eagles 52-20 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Briggsdale didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Isaiah Trujillo and Scot Francis. Francis' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 158 rushing yards. Trujillo got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why Deer Trail lost, don't look at Jayden Mingee. Despite the final result, he picked up 192 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Mingee was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 63 yards.

Briggsdale's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Deer Trail, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

As of now, neither Briggsdale nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
