Volleyball Recap: Presley St. Clair and Olivia Clayton Secure Win for Rockwall

Rockwall posted their closest win since September 10, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Celina Bobcats 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Rockwall was led to victory by Olivia Clayton and Presley St. Clair. Clayton had eight digs and four aces, while St. Clair had seven digs. That's the most aces Clayton has posted since back in October of 2024. Bradi Weideman also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Rockwall was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Celina only served three aces.

Rockwall now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Celina, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Rockwall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Plano West on the 21st. As for Celina, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Frisco on the 21st.
