Game recap: Metamora High School Football Team wins against Limestone

METAMORA, Ill. -
Metamora (Ill.) extended its winning streak to seven games with a 33-12 victory over
Limestone (Bartonville, Ill.) on Saturday.
The Redbirds were up 12-0 at the half after taking the lead on a
Lucas Lahood touchdown run in the first quarter.
Metamora expanded its lead to 27 points entering the fourth quarter. MHS scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Dekota Doerr.
Doerr was the top performer for the Redbirds. The senior ran for two touchdowns.
Metamora went into the matchup giving up only 16.6 points per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 49-6 win for MHS.
