Basketball Recap: Chassell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chassell played a tough matchup on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the L'Anse Purple Hornets 91-58. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Purple Hornets: they've now lost three in a row.

L'Anse's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sam Lee led the charge by shooting 60% from the field en route to 23 points and five rebounds. The last time Lee's field goal percentage was this high was back in January. Another player making a difference was Keegan Davidson, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 18 points and eight boards.

Chassell now has a losing record of 1-2. As for L'Anse, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Chassell will head out to face off against Hancock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for L'Anse, they will be home for the holidays to greet Baraga at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
