Baseball Recap: North Star Academy Takes a Loss

North Star Academy lost against Hillside two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. North Star Academy came up short against Hillside, falling 14-1. North Star Academy's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

North Star Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Hillside, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, North Star Academy will venture away from home to challenge University at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. North Star Academy are facing the Phoenix at the right time seeing as the Phoenix are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Hillside, they will welcome Orange at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tornadoes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.85 runs per game on average), something the Comets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
