Glynn Academy won the last time they faced Savannah Country Day and things went their way on Thursday too. The Terrors blew past the Hornets 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Terrors yet this season.

Glynn Academy never let Savannah Country Day on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 25-21.

Izzy Counsil paced Glynn Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Counsil got some help from Laura Beth (Elby) Baldridge and her 15 assists. Annie Bella McBryar controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

With the victory, Glynn Academy broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7. As for Savannah Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glynn Academy will welcome Jenkins at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Savannah Country Day, they will square off against Savannah at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
