Milton dropped their record down to 13-11 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Pace Patriots by a score of 2-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on April 4th.

As for Pace, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-3. That's two games straight that they have won by exactly two runs.

For Pace's part, not much got past Hannah DeMarcus, who gave up just a hit and racked up 18 Ks to keep Milton off the board. DeMarcus has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in 19 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Gracie Ueberroth was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

As of now, neither Milton nor Pace have any future games scheduled.
