Baseball Recap: Lemoore's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Lemoore won the last time they faced Hanford and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Bullpups 2-1.

Ian Snell made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Lemoore is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 8-9 otherwise. Snell was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Snell wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Dallas Neal, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Lemoore's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9. As for Hanford, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Lemoore will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bullpups: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
