Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Summit). They never let the Ravenwood Raptors get on the board and left with  a   15-0  win  on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won seven matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Addison Johnson looked comfortable as she  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Addyson Willingham, who  fired off two  home runs and six  RBI while going 2-for-3. Those  two  home runs gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lakyn Canada, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, four  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Summit  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They are  a perfect 6-0 when  they post two or more  strikeouts.
Summit has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ravenwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
 Looking ahead, Summit will face off against Forrest at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Ravenwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nolensville  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
