Softball Recap: Lincoln Charter Takes a Loss

Lincoln Charter fell victim to Pine Lake Prep and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Pride by a score of 2-0. It was the first time this season that the Eagles let down their fans at home.

Lincoln Charter's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Pine Lake Prep, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Lincoln Charter has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 win against Cherryville on the 26th. As for Pine Lake Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against the Eagles on the 28th.
