There's no place like home for Serra, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Friday. They never let the Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers get on the board and left with  a   12-0  victory  on Saturday. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six  runs or more this season.
Serra let  ISAIH MOLINA and  MARC EMMERMAN run wild. MOLINA  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and one  double, while  EMMERMAN  went 2-for-3 with one  triple.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  home run department: Serra  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
Serra is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Serra will host Leuzinger  at 3:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maywood CES at 10:00  a.m.  on  the 26th.
