Softball Recap: Lowry Has No Trouble Against Southeast Career Tech

Lowry picked up another tournament win on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners as the Lowry Buckaroos made off with an 8-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buckaroos.

The team relied heavily on Isabel Upton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was Crisslyn Rodriguez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Lowry's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Southeast Career Tech, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Lowry will take on Tolleson at 10:40 a.m. on Friday. As for Southeast Career Tech, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Green Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
