Volleyball Recap: Canyon View Comes Up Short

Canyon View managed to slip by Campo Verde the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Jaguars came up short against the Coyotes on Friday, falling 3-0. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Coyotes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-18, 25-17.

Canyon View has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-20 record this season. As for Campo Verde, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Canyon View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Campo Verde, they will face off against Desert Edge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Scorpions will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Coyotes surely won't give up without a fight.
