Preview: Placer Hillmen vs. Antelope Titans
The Placer Hillmen will be playing at home against the Antelope Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Placer is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Placer ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They snuck past Weed with a 63-57 victory. Given Placer's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while Weed is ranked 119th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Antelope humbled Rosemont with a 84-39 victory.
Antelope can attribute much of their success to Daunte Martin, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Artem Rudko was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Their wins bumped Placer to 6-0 and Weed to 3-1.
