Baseball Recap: Chamberlain Takes a Loss

Chamberlain lost against Brandon back in April of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chamberlain Storm fell 7-4 to the Brandon Eagles.

Chamberlain saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Hyde, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another was Xavier Ether, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Chamberlain's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brandon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chamberlain will face off against Armwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brandon, they will challenge Clearwater at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
