Softball Recap: Waynedale Golden Bears vs. Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints
Waynedale had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints on Thursday as the Waynedale Golden Bears made off with a 14-3 victory. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for Waynedale this season.
Brooke Compston was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Compston was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles.
