Upperman waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past Central Magnet 3-0. The Bees have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Central Magnet, too.

Upperman can attribute much of their success to Shayla Burchett, who had ten digs. Adriana Hayes also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Upperman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive matches.

Upperman's victory bumped their record up to 27-8. As for Central Magnet, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-8.

Upperman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Forrest on the 14th. As for Central Magnet, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Signal Mountain on the 16th.
