Basketball Recap: Tomahawk Comes Up Short

Tomahawk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 77-34 loss at the hands of the Phillips Loggers. While losing is never fun, the Hatchets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 453rd, while the Loggers are ranked 204th).

Tomahawk's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Phillips, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Tomahawk has already played their next contest (against Merrill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Phillips wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-57 loss against Athens on the 4th.
