McBain's Seth Barnette rumbled for the longest rushing play in Highland this season in his game against Manistee last week. Barnette ran for 75 yards on the play and finished with 151 on the day as his team topped the Chippewas.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Lake City beat Pine River Area 48-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Trojans.
Zach Stephan was a passing and rushing force as McBain bested Manistee.
Briar Mulder made the biggest impact on defense this week as Chad Grundy's team topped Tod Miller's team. He racked up 2.0 sacks.

Stephan was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 249 yards on 20 carries as McBain beat Marion. Barnette also contributed to the rushing game with 151 yards on the ground.
The Wildcats' Jacob Fortune and Hopkins have formed a dream team this season, leading Highland in both passing and receiving yards. Fortune has thrown for 943 yards this season, while Hopkins, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 28 catches for 598 yards. The Ramblers' Stephan leads the league in rushing yards with 806.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when McBain takes on Lake City. The Ramblers' offense has scored 164 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Tim Peterson's team has allowed only 6 on the year.
As it stands, the Trojans are in first, while McBain is in third.
Beal City led the league in scoring this week by notching 77 points on Manton.
