Vestavia Hills won the last time they faced Oak Mountain and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rebels skirted past the Eagles 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Rebels as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Millie Burgess paced Vestavia Hills' offense, picking up 11 kills. Burgess got some help from Kendall Roberts and her 12 assists.

The victory got Vestavia Hills back to even at 3-3. As for Oak Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Vestavia Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Lawrence County on the 23rd. As for Oak Mountain, they will welcome Southside at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
