Basketball Recap: Tuxedo Takes a Loss

Tuxedo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Liberty Indians, falling 68-40.

Despite the defeat, Tuxedo had strong showings from Mo Berthe, who posted 18 points, and Logan Saari-Poznanski, who put up 18 points.

Tuxedo's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Liberty, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuxedo will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chapel Field Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 27th. As for Liberty, they will be playing at home against Livingston Manor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
