Volleyball Recap: Liberty Christian Lions vs. Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers
Liberty Christian came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Deaf Hoosiers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
The final score came out to 25-6, 25-5, 25-11.
Indiana School for the Deaf got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bailee Presley out in front who had five aces. Those five aces gave Presley a new career-high. Madison Dray was another key player, getting five aces and three digs.
Liberty Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on University at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they will square off against Traders Point Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Deaf Hoosiers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
