Community School of Davidson waltzed into their match on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Langtree Charter Academy Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Community School of Davidson was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-11, 25-9.

Lizzie Shields paced Community School of Davidson's offense, picking up ten kills. Shields got some help from Lucia Grace Soares and her 27 assists. Jordan Famularo controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Community School of Davidson's record now sits at 20-4. As for Langtree Charter Academy, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-16.
