Recap: Brandeis Broncos vs. Clark Cougars
The Brandeis Broncos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They suffered a rough 58-38 loss at the hands of Clark. Brandeis lost against Clark in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 57-53 score last time.
Despite the loss, Brandeis saw an underclassman step up: Karmen Gonzales scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Espinosa, who scored six points.
Brandeis has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. As for Clark, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Reagan the next time they take the court. Brandeis will host Reagan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Clark will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
