Campbell had lost seven games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-21 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Scott County Central Braves by a score of 8-5. For the Camels, this counts as revenge for the 17-7 win the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Hartlee Wills was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits.
