Baseball Game Preview: Ozark Tigers vs. Lebanon Yellowjackets

The Ozark Tigers will square off against the Lebanon Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ozark is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Ozark is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since March 22nd on Tuesday. They came up short against Kickapoo, falling 12-3.

Ozark saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcus Heavin, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Lebanon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Liberators by a score of 10-6.

Lebanon's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Ozark, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 14-5.

Ozark was able to grind out a solid win over Lebanon in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 7-3. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
