Basketball Recap: Vision vs. Notus Pirates
If Vision were feeling good off their 65-37 takedown of the Centennial Baptist Mustangs last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Vision took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. Vision has struggled against the Pirates recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Vision lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kamden Stoker, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Walo, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Vision's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Notus, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Vision will head out on the road to take on the Vipers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Victory Charter will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. Notus will take on the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
