Baseball Recap: Lewis County Comes Up Short

Lewis County was the 4-3 winner over Philip Barbour when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Lewis County fell 6-3 to Philip Barbour on Thursday. The defeat leaves the Minutemen still looking for their first win of the season.

Lewis County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryder Aman, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Lewis County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Philip Barbour, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Lewis County will welcome North Marion at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Philip Barbour, they will head out to square off against Doddridge County at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
