Tolono Unity and Monticello are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2017, but likely not for long. The Rockets will venture away from home to take on the Sages at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Tolono Unity and Oakwood/Catlin meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Rockets came up short against the Comets, falling 4-0. Tolono Unity haven't had much luck with Oakwood/Catlin recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Monticello managed to keep up with Cornerstone Christian until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Sages lost 4-0 to the Cyclones.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15-1. As for Tolono Unity, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10-2.

Tolono Unity was able to grind out a solid victory over Monticello in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
