Theron Ott posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
