Casper Eckols was unstoppable on Saturday, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than one earned run. This year, he has an ERA of 2.68 over 15.7 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Liberty Panthers duke it out with Livingston Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
