Basketball Recap: Woods Cross Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Woods Cross had won two straight road games and Grace MacArthur did her part to make it three on Friday. The Woods Cross Wildcats came out on top against the Bonneville Lakers by a score of 49-42 thanks in part to MacArthur, who went 7 for 12 en route to 20 points. Those 20 points gave her a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Bonneville lost, don't look at Charity Mcdonald. Despite the final result, she posted 14 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Baya Jimenez, who scored seven points and five boards.

Woods Cross has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Bonneville, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Woods Cross wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-27 win against Box Elder on the 29th. As for Bonneville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-32 loss against Clearfield on the 29th.
