They fell just short of the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Broncos of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

The 3-2 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 26-24, 28-30, 25-22, 22-25, 20-18.

Saint Francis will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something St. Ignatius College Preparatory surely won't give up without a fight.
