Ryder Holmes posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Carver is 2-1 when Holmes allows one or fewer earned runs, but 1-4 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Holmes and Carver will face off against Rockland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
