Even though Varsity Opponent scored an imposing 67 points on Tuesday, the Weequahic Indians still came out on top. Weequahic took their contest against Varsity Opponent 76-67. That's another feather in the cap for Weequahic, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Weequahic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tasir Barnes, who scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barnes has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tyhir Barlow, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten assists.

Weequahic's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 43 of their last 49 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 262-998-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weequahic will take on Cedar Grove at TBD on Thursday. Cedar Grove is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Varsity Opponent, they will play host again and welcome HEARTS for Jesus Christ, where tip off is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully HEARTS for Jesus Christ focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Monday.
