Volleyball Game Preview: Chequamegon Screaming Eagles vs. Phillips Loggers

Chequamegon is 0-10 against Phillips since September of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Screaming Eagles will challenge the Loggers at 7:00 p.m. Chequamegon will be strutting in after a victory while Phillips will be coming in after a defeat.

Chequamegon will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Assumption, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Screaming Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Royals on Tuesday. The Screaming Eagles not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Phillips suffered their biggest loss since October 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Stratford.

The win got Chequamegon back to even at 16-16. As for Phillips, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-17.

Chequamegon suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Phillips in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Screaming Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
