Softball Recap: Duchesne Eagles vs. Gunnison Valley Bulldogs
Duchesne had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs 5-3. Five seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Kira Grant spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
