Basketball Recap: Kemmerer Takes a Loss

Kemmerer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 52-31 to the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies. The Rangers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Rocky Mountain's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tucker Jackson, who shot 67% from the field en route to 13 points. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Minchow, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Kemmerer's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Rocky Mountain, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Kemmerer has already played their next game, a 63-27 defeat against Hot Springs County on the 1st. As for Rocky Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-34 loss against Big Piney on the 28th.
