Soccer Recap: Norland Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Norland was not quite Booker T. Washington's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 443rd, while the Tornadoes are ranked 164th).

Norland's goal came courtesy of Talya Cochran, who's now up to seven this season.

Norland's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Booker T. Washington, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
