Volleyball Recap: Centennial Has No Trouble Against Beechcroft

Centennial's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Beechcroft Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Centennial not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Beechcroft between 17 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-18.

Centennial's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6. As for Beechcroft, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Centennial is set to face off against their familiar foe Northland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Beechcroft will take on rival Whetstone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
