Baseball Recap: Model Comes Up Short

The Model Patriots came up short against the East Jessamine Jaguars on Thursday, falling 9-2. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Model saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayden Wade, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Model's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for East Jessamine, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Model will challenge Nicholas County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Jessamine, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Frankfort at 6:00 p.m. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
