Softball Recap: Berry Takes a Loss

Berry fell victim to Lamar County and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 6-0 to the Bulldogs. The Wildcats have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Berry's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Lamar County, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12.

Berry has already played their next contest, a 6-5 loss against South Lamar on the 27th. As for Lamar County, they will host Fayette County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
