Baseball Recap: De La Salle Spartans vs. Del Oro Golden Eagles
It's playoff time, and De La Salle had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Del Oro Golden Eagles on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Mason Cortez looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
